Your contact card: sent with every confirmation

Your contact card

When the assistant books an appointment (or moves one), the confirmation text now carries your contact card: one line with a link to your card page, and on your own texting number the card itself rides along so the person can tap Save contact. Nothing promotional goes with it — the confirmation stays a confirmation.

What is on the card

The card is built from your profile every time it is opened, so it is never out of date:

  • Your name and your business name (from Settings → Identity).
  • Your title and a license line if you add them (Settings → Your contact card).
  • The number you choose: your cell, or your own business line. The shared FirstFiveMin number is never put on your card — a call back to it would reach the assistant, not you.
  • Your email (your login address) and your website if you set one.
  • A short note in your own words — the label depends on your business: *Showing details* for real estate, *What to expect* for home services, *Location and parking* for offices. Leave it empty to leave it off.
  • For medical, dental and legal practices: a link to your own intake or new-patient form on your own site. FirstFiveMin never hosts intake forms and never collects health information.

FirstFiveMin's name appears nowhere on the card. It is yours.

Your card page and QR

Open my card page shows what the person sees: your details, Save contact, Book an appointment (into the same booking the assistant uses), and a QR code that opens the page. Print the QR on a sign rider, a truck door or a counter card — scanning it saves your contact and lets people book. The link is stable; New link retires it (and any printed QR) and makes a fresh one.

When it is not sent yet

The status line under the card tells you why: the card is turned off, your name is missing under Identity, or there is no number or email to put on it. Fix the item named and the card starts riding the next confirmation.

What your CRM sees

Every card sent shows on the lead's timeline and fires the followup.sent webhook, so a CRM or automation can mirror it.

My card: share your card from your phone

Your card is built from your profile — your name, business, title, license line, number, email and website — and stays current on its own. There is nothing to set up here: you change what the card says on Settings → Your contact card, and My card is where you share it.

Three ways to share it

| Way | What the other person does | Works with | |---|---|---| | QR code | Points their phone camera at the code. Nothing to install. | Every phone | | NFC tag | Taps your tag or card with their phone. | Every phone with NFC | | NameDrop | Holds their iPhone near yours. | iPhone to iPhone |

QR code. My card shows your QR code on screen, and Download the QR code (print size) gives you a picture you can print on a flyer, a sign or the back of your business card. Keep it on your phone's screen and anyone can scan it.

NFC tag. Buy a blank NFC sticker or card (NTAG213 or NTAG215, a few dollars). Install the free NFC Tools app on your phone. Choose Write, then Add a record, then URL, paste your card link (the Copy link button on My card), and hold the tag to your phone. From then on, any phone that taps the tag opens your card.

NameDrop (iPhone). Tap Save to my phone and save the contact. Then go to Settings → Contacts → My Info on your iPhone and choose that contact. When you hold your iPhone near another iPhone, NameDrop shares this card. Android phones have no built-in tap-to-share for contacts, so use the QR code or an NFC tag with them.

What people see on your card

Your card page shows your details, Save contact, Text me and Call me (to your own number, never a shared one), and Send me your details — your own lead form. A person who fills it in becomes a lead exactly like one from your website form, with the same consent step, and the lead page shows where it came from as form / card.

A new link

Get a new link retires your current link and makes a new one. Your old link, any QR codes you printed and any NFC tags you wrote stop working, so only do it if an old link is somewhere you no longer want it.

Lines

With Multi-Line on, each of your lines has its own card (its own title, license line, website and number when you set them), and My card lists each one with its own link, QR code and NFC steps.
